Environmental Assessment

Organisations are becoming increasingly aware of their corporate responsibilities to the local communities and protecting the environment in which they work. Coupled with regulatory control, demonstrating a commitment to continuous environmental improvement has become a significant aspect of a company's everyday activity. At ESP we have the expertise to assist organisations achieving continual improvement with the implementation, auditing and reporting of your environmental management systems. We can supply a range of environmental services to ensure environmental compliance is achieved in a sustainable and effective manner.

Environmental Impact Assessment (often referred as EIA) is a procedure and management technique, which ensures that the likely effects of new development on the environment are fully appraised and considered before the development is granted with planning permission. The procedure requires systematic analysis of the predicted effects of the project on the environment and these services allow preparation of an Environmental Statement that describes this. We have the experience and expertise to undertake a wide range of studies to satisfy the requirements of the EIA.

ESP is particularly accomplished in the supporting and the engineering design process, particularly relating to the impact on air, noise, ecology, and the ground and surface waters.
